The Franklin County Arts Alliance is planning a Mad Hatter Tea and Fashion Show fundraiser for May 3rd. We will have 100 tickets to give away beginning in April. But, because nothing is really FREE, attendees will be asked to donate jewelry (or cash if you prefer not to part with your jewels). That's really quite mad, but please be assured, all jewelry will be sold or artfully used to fund and promote artistic pursuits within Franklin County. You can expect some of your jewels to be repurposed into other art media. Also, Carol Kober at the Saucy Ladies Dress Shop in Mt. Vernon will be showing Spring fashions at the tea. Anything purchased at her store as a result of the fashion show will net FCAA with a percentage of cost. Carol has also donated real Mad Hatter tea from Yorkshire for your enjoyment.
